Sympathy signs with Bombworks Records

Bombworks Records is proud to announce that Canadian death metal phenom Sympathy is joining the label.

Sympathy has been a force in the death metal underground for a long time now, consisting almost exclusively of front man Derek James From (Dharok). After recording several demos, Sympathy released a handful of releases on Dutch extreme label Fear Dark Records that were received with high regard by both the press and fans, and the band also recently released an EP on Norwegian label Momentum Scandinavia. Displaying his technical prowess, Dharok performed all of the instruments on his releases, including complex programmed drums that hardly sounded programmed, molding an impressive technical death metal soundscape with a sound all its own. Wanting to take things to the next level, Dharok has joined forces with monster guitarist Jeff Lewis (Abolishment of Hate, Mortification) and drummer Jim Austin (Into Eternity) to craft his most complex and interesting project yet. The new CD, titled "Anagogic Tyranny", will feature 10 tracks of technical blackened death metal that is sure to set a new standard in the metal underground.

"Anagogic Tyranny" will be available worldwide in mid-2008.

Azmaveth, Bealiah, Holy Blood, and more

The long-awaited releases from Azmaveth and Bealiah are finally heading to manufacturing and will see release dates sometime in March. Both are currently being offered for preorder on the website for $11 for US customers and $15 for non-US customers and will be shipped out as soon as they are received from the plant. For those of you looking to get a death / black (Azmaveth) or old-school black (Bealiah) metal fix, these 2 releases should be right up your alley.

In more release news, the hotly anticipated third release from folk metal stalwarts Holy Blood will soon be seeing the light of day. The CD master is finished and features an amazing multimedia enhanced experience in addition to the best Holy Blood tuneage to date, and I daresay the artwork is also the best to date and truly fits the mood of the entire CD. This CD should see an April release, and preorders have also been posted for it for $12 for US customers and $16 for non-US customers.

Furthermore, to celebrate 4 years of existence (has it really been that long?), we are also running a Preorder + 1 Special. For $17 for US customers ($21 for non-US customers), you can order any one of the 3 preorderable titles + 1 backtitle of your choice, excluding only My Silent Wake - The Anatomy of Melancholy and Illuminandi - The Beginning (which is out of print). If choosing this option, you must follow up your PayPal purchase with an email telling us which title you are preordering and which backtitle you want. Otherwise, we might just surprise you. :) There is no limit to the number of Preorder + 1 Specials you take advantage of, so if you have been on the fence about picking up some backtitles, here is your chance to cash in, for a limited time.

In a few days, we will be making a very large announcement about a brand new band to join the Bombworks family. This has been a secret affair for quite some time now, and we are happy that we only have to make you wait a little bit longer to find out.

My Silent Wake will be hitting the studio in March to record their third album. More details on this will be forthcoming.

As many of you may already know, Carl has left Common Yet Forbidden. The band has a brand new vocalist, however, and they are hitting the road again throughout February and beyond. Best of luck to Carl in his new endeavors, and check out CYF when they come to a venue near you.

Finally, Bombworks Records will be sponsoring Day of Metal 2008 at Cornerstone again this year. It will feature Bombworks bands, other signed bands, and a number of independent bands. Already confirmed are Frosthardr (Norway) and Sotahuuto (Finland), so all you Europeans need to start booking your trips now. :) More details on DOM2008 will be forthcoming, but you can mark your calendars for the Wednesday of Cornerstone, just like last year.

Keep your eyes peeled for the forthcoming big announcement, now just days away....

Long overdue update

For those of you who are wondering, yes, Bombworks is still alive and kicking. If you don't believe me, check out our recent ad campaigns in Terrorizer, Unrestrained!, and HM, featuring My Silent Wake and Common Yet Forbidden. Due to a major relocation of half the Bombworks team, we have been a bit quiet, but we are working hard behind the scenes as we continue to grow. The biggest current news is the addition of 2 major distributors. In the online-only domain, Nokternal Hemizphear (www.nhmetal.com) will soon be launching and will be an amazing source for all your metal needs, including all Bombworks releases. In the more traditional store domain, we are excited to announce that all of our newest releases are currently available at Mardel Stores, and soon most of our back catalog will also be available. We are working diligently to add more options to our list of retail outlets, and we will let you know as soon as more options are available.

We have received a number of emails regarding both the Azmaveth and Bealiah releases which have yet to be released (and obviously are late!). Both releases are still happening but will not happen until 2008. We don't have solid dates yet, but Azmaveth should drop very near the beginning of 2008. We apologize for the delays, as we know many of you are eagerly anticipating both releases. Both releases are fantastic and certainly worth the wait.

We teased many of you at Cornerstone with the promise of some huge news, and we have continued to do so since then, but so far no huge news has surfaced. I won't be delivering this huge news in this update, but I can promise you that it will be forthcoming very soon. Until then, stay metal!

Day of Metal and other updates

Cornerstone is fast approaching, meaning that Day of Metal 2007 is almost here. Exousia is sadly no longer playing, but Norway's own Frosthardr will be playing their slot with their brand of frostbitten black metal. The Day of Metal 2007 compilation artwork has been posted, and the CD will feature one track from each of the 11 bands playing, plus 5 songs from current and upcoming Bombworks Records' releases. Included in the track list will be an amazing never-before-released live track from Aletheian, as well as new unreleased tracks from many of the bands playing the fest, including The Burning Issue, Deus Invictus, With Faith or Flames, Kibbroth Hattaavah, and A Hill To Die Upon. These compilations will debut at Cornerstone and will be sold for a limited time only. We are also now offering a limited preorder for those of you not attending Cornerstone. More details on this below.

The current schedule for Day of Metal looks like this:

  • 2:00 PM A Hill To Die Upon (death / black)
  • 2:40 PM Frosthardr (black metal)
  • 3:20 PM With Faith or Flames (power death)
  • 4:00 PM Kibbroth Hattaavah (symphonic black)
  • 4:40 PM Deus Invictus (progressive death / grind)
  • 5:20 PM The Burning Issue (thrash)
  • 9:00 PM Common Yet Forbidden (deathy thrash)
  • 9:45 PM Dagon (thrash / death fused with 80's rock)
  • 10:45 PM Lo-Ruhamah (black / death with post rock influence)
  • 11:45 PM Aletheian (progressive death)
  • 12:45 AM Crimson Moonlight (black metal)
The afternoon sets and Common Yet Forbidden are 30 minute sets. The last 4 bands are 45 minute sets. It is going to be a great day, so be prepared to rock. Bombworks Records will be there in full force with lots of merchandise, and all the bands will also have merchandise, so come out and support the underground and true metal.

We have posted artwork for the Bealiah CD coming out later this year. Check it out on the Releases page.

Hope Has Failed Us comes out next week, so you only have 1 more week to get your preorders in. The Common Yet Forbidden preorder will continue up until Cornerstone when their CD is released, as will the Day of Metal comp, so you only have 3 more weeks to preorder both of these great CDs.

Until next time....

Bealiah

Bombworks Records has acquired the rights to release the demos from Indonesian cult underground black metal band Bealiah. Originally released on a series of cassettes, most of the original copies never left the Asian continent, and outside of 1 song that appeared on a compilation, none of the songs have ever appeared on CD before. "Anthology of the Undead" will collect 13 songs from the Bealiah demos onto 1 CD, completely remastered for maximum brutality. The songs are raw in the true sense of the word, much to the delight of black metal purists, and yet they do not falter in the quality department, delivering power, aggression, and atmosphere in only the way that pure, old school black metal can. The tiny number of you who know who Bealiah is are exuding large amounts of drool right now, and the black metal purists who think they have heard everything and have not heard Bealiah will be supremely satisfied upon hearing this release. Bealiah will be released worldwide September 11, 2007, and a track will be made available in the very near future.

Common Yet Forbidden, New Preorders, Azmaveth

We have just made available the third track titled "Lake of Fire, Wake of Souls" from the upcoming Common Yet Forbidden full length "The Struggle". This song is a smoking piece of intense deathy thrash with blasting galore and lots of fantastic guitar work. It is sure to induce some serious headbanging and helicopter assembly action. The CD will officially release June 26, just in time for the band to play Bombworks Records' sponsored Day of Metal.

We have now updated the preorders for the brand new Common Yet Forbidden CD as well as the upcoming full length from Hope Has Failed US. Each CD is $10 for US orders and $13 for non-US orders. Due to popular demand, all non-US orders will include the jewel case. HHFU will be available for preorder until it streets June 12, and CYF will be available for preorder until its street date of June 26.

Many people have been asking when the album "Strong As Death" by Azmaveth will be released. It experienced a few delays, but now all of those are sorted out, and you can get it in your metal loving hands on August 7. Azmaveth deftly mixes black, death, thrash, and their Hispanic roots for a refreshing take on extreme metal that is both melodic and absolutely brutal.

Next week, we will announce the secret reissue we have kept under wraps for so long...

My Silent Wake / The Anatomy of Melancholy

My Silent Wake is following up their critically acclaimed debut "Shadow of Sorrow" with an ambitious 2-disc album the likes of which has not been seen in the metal market. The first disc in the 2-album set demonstrates the evolution of the My Silent Wake death / doom sound with HUGE guitars, long, epic songs, and Ian's trademark mix of growls and singing. Every aspect of this disc is bigger than Shadow of Sorrow, and those of you who loved the debut are going to freak when you hear Disc 1 of The Anatomy of Melancholy. Disc 2 sees My Silent Wake going mostly unplugged and exploring more of an acoustic, gothic, atmospheric medieval sound. The last song on Disc 2 is a different version of the last song on Disc 1, but the remaining acoustic songs are brand new compositions. A huge variety of instruments are played, and the ethereal atmosphere created by these songs complements the monster sound of the metal songs perfectly. A 2-disc set from a metal band that features 2 contrasting styles is literally unheard of, and even more unheard of is when a band can play 2 contrasting styles this well.

My Silent Wake is playing the Elements of Rock Festival in Switzerland in late April, and The Anatomy of Melancholy will be first available at this festival. The official street date worldwide for the double disc masterpiece is Tuesday, May 1, 2007.

Once the Lo-Ruhamah and Dagon preorders have completed, which will happen when they street on March 27, The Anatomy of Melancholy will be available for preorder until May 1.

As you can tell, Bombworks Records has been very busy this year, and this is only the beginning. There will be many more announcements over the next few months for some amazing releases, including an underground cult classic reissue for the first time ever on CD. Keep watching this space, and stay metal!

Wednesday, March 14, 2007

Lo-Ruhamah and Dagon Release Date

The new full lengths from Lo-Ruhamah and Dagon, titled "The Glory of God" and "Paranormal Ichthyology" respectively, will be released on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, worldwide. Lo-Ruhamah mixes black and death metal with post rock influence to create an opus that is creative, melodic, atmospheric and brutal. The CD features all brand new material and contains over 60 minutes of music for an amazing listening experience. Dagon combines machine gun double bass, furious thrash riffs, soaring 80's soaked solos and duel leads, and bold vocals for an all out thrash/death onslaught. You won't want to miss this stunning slab of white hot metal.

For those of you waiting to preorder these 2 amazing releases, you have until March 27, before they are replaced with a preorder for another brand new Bombworks' release which will be announced in a few days.

Until then, stay metal!

Day of Metal Update / Artwork Contest

The amazing Crimson Moonlight has just been confirmed for Day of Metal. The current roster now looks like this:

  • A Hill To Die Upon
  • With Faith or Flames
  • Kibbroth Hattaavah
  • Deus Invictus
  • The Burning Issue
  • Exousia
  • Common Yet Forbidden
  • Dagon
  • Lo-Ruhamah
  • Aletheian
  • Crimson Moonlight
so now everyone has yet another reason to make plans to be at Cornerstone this year, at least for all of Wednesday, June 27.

Bombworks Records is running an artwork contest for the Day of Metal compilation CD. The CD will be in a cardboard sleeve with artwork on the front and back, and the CD itself will also have artwork. We are looking for people to submit designs for the artwork that are creative and capture the essence of "Day of Metal". It will also be necessary to design a logo for "Day of Metal", and we will also welcome artists to submit potential titles for the CD. Designs should have an extreme metal feel to them, and we would prefer if each band logo for the bands playing is present on the artwork in some way. Also, it will be important that the back of the CD jacket contain the track list so that people know what greatness is contained on the CD.

The winner of the artwork contest will have his or her name on the CD as the artwork designer, will receive a copy of the compilation CD, and will also receive 1 copy of every release Bombworks Records puts out in 2007. Deadlines for submissions are April 1, 2007, so get your creative juices flowing and start submitting designs! If you have specific questions about formats, feel free to send us email.

Lo-Ruhamah and Dagon full lengths

The month of March will see 2 brand new releases from Bombworks Records: the new full lengths from Lo-Ruhamah and Dagon. Lo-Ruhamah follows up their successful MCD with a full length CD of creative death and black metal with post rock influence that is sure to keep you thinking while your head is banging. Those of you who were disappointed in the short length of the MCD will not be disappointed here, as the full length clocks in at over 60 minutes, and the CD is a very nice progression from the MCD's material. Dagon follows up their successful independently released EP with a full length album of blistering death and furious thrash fused with 80's rock and roll. The pace rarely lets up, and lovers of classic shred will be pleasantly surprised. Speed, solos, and brutality abound! Dagon will be touring furiously to support the new album, so look for them later this year.

Tortured Conscience, Howard Stern, Canada, and a teaser

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates recently. A second child makes one's life much more interesting, especially when the first is still younger than 2. :)

So, on to the news! Evidently, Tortured Conscience's brutal rendition of "Little Drummer Boy" was recently played on Howard Stern. Maybe we should ask him to play something off "Every Knee Shall Bow...."

For all you Canucks, Bombworks Records releases are now available exclusively via mail orders and retail stores throughout Canada via PHD Canada. Go to your nearest retailer and start ordering Bombworks Records releases!

Finally, Bombworks Records has just signed a brand new band. The name of this band will be revealed very soon, but you can expect a nice blend of new thrash and death. We will also soon be releasing a very exciting reissue that has previously never been available on CD, and we will be making many more new album announcements from current Bombworks' bands very soon.

Century Sleeper and Angel 7 now shipping to distros

That's right. After several delays and a lot of anticipation, Century Sleeper / Awaken and Angel 7 / Black and White are now available and shipping to distros. Century Sleeper is a collaboration between Ian Arkley of My Silent Wake and James Allin of Visionaire and is a new album of gothic death / doom goodness. Angel 7 is from Ukraine like labelmates Holy Blood and mixes furious power metal-esque riffing with the bombastic sounds of death and black metal. Both CDs should be great additions to any headbanger's collection.

Stay tuned for some more bigtime news which will be announced very soon. Until then...

Lo-Ruhamah has just been added to play Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Illinois. They will be playing the HM stage on Wednesday night, July 5. For all of you going to Cornerstone this year, be sure to stop by and check out the band, as they put on a great live set, and if you don't own a CD or t-shirt from them, this would be a great time to purchase one. Feel free to say hi to the Bombworks crew as well, as we will also be in attendance.

Lo-Ruhamah entering the studio

Lo-Ruhamah is entering the studio on Monday, June 12, to start recording the full length follow-up to their very well received self-titled MCD. It will be a natural progression for the band and take even larger strides in the passion, brutality, and attention to detail the MCD showcased. For those of you who were disappointed in the short length of the MCD, you will be happy to hear that the follow-up will be 50+ minutes in length. Look for "The Glory of God" to be released sometime in Fall 2006.

Finally, after several demos, California death metallers Tortured Conscience will be releasing their debut full length recording "Every Knee Shall Bow". Featuring members of grind act Vulgar Pigeons, Tortured Conscience grinds through 10 brutal tracks, the last of which is a cover of the Bloodgood classic "Crucify".

Just a short update this time, but it's a biggie: Bombworks Records releases are now becoming available via Century Media Distribution in the US. CM has a great record as a distributor and a wide base of clientele, and this partnership should make Bombworks' releases even easier to find throughout the US.

HUGE distro update / Unrestrained! Magazine

Hi everyone! Those of you who have been following the growth of Bombworks Records over the past couple of years have probably noted the steady increase in distribution and promotion. Well, the past month has caused an explosion in distro growth that was worthy of a news item.

First off, we are now receiving distribution in the US via The Omega - The End Records Mail Order. The End Records stocks a huge selection of releases and makes them available to a wide audience, and this should provide much greater exposure for our releases in the US. Additionally, we are also now working with Nightmare Records Distribution. Nightmare Records is run by legendary metal vocalist Lance King, and his label and distro specializes in making melodic and power metal available worldwide, though he also distributes extreme metal. Nightmare Records will allow our releases to gain more exposure in both the US and Europe. For those of you who did not know, our releases have also been available via Amazon.com and TowerRecords.com for a few months now. We are also close to adding a few more major distros to this list. These additions to our current list of US distros should give us much more exposure in our home country and make our releases more readily available to a much wider audience.

But wait! There's more! For those of you who reside in the United Kingdom, we have struck a deal with Plastic Head Distribution, one of the largest metal distributors in the UK, which will make our releases available in physical record stores and webstores throughout the UK. This will also provide some visibility for our releases in a few other European countries which Plastic Head exports to. This will be accompanied by an ad campaign in Terrorizer Magazine, by far the largest metal magazine in the UK, with exposure to many other European countries as well as the US. This is a huge step for us and should open up many more doors for us in Europe.

We already receive distribution in Germany via Hellion Records for our melodic / power metal / thrash titles and via Whirlwind Records for all of our releases. We have just inked a deal with SX Distribution which will make our releases available in quite a few record shops throughout Germany as well as via many more mail orders. We have a few other possibilities percolating in Germany as well.

Extreme Records is now carrying our releases in the metal-loving country of Brazil, and we look to be adding a few more soon. For those of you who live in Brazil, be on the lookout for an ad in Rock Brigade magazine very soon.

World Chaos Production will start making our releases available in Japan. We have had no exposure in Japan prior to this, and we are very excited to make our releases available there. We are also working on a few more leads in Asia.

And though not new additions, you can also currently buy our releases in Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Australia and Mexico. You can always see a complete list of our distributors on our links page.

Finally, those of you who live in North America should go to your local bookstore or magazine stand and pick up the latest copy of Unrestrained! Magazine. In addition to it being an awesome magazine, you will find a half-page full color Bombworks Records ad as well as 3 reviews: Holy Blood / The Wanderer (7 out of 10), Holy Blood / Waves Are Dancing (7.5 out of 10), and Lo-Ruhamah / Lo-Ruhamah (7 out of 10).

Keep checking back for updates, and, as always, stay metal!

Century Sleeper / Awaken and The Souls Unrest / The Souls Unrest will be available by early March, and My Silent Wake / Shadow of Sorrow should be available by early April.

Century Sleeper

As a precursor to the upcoming My Silent Wake release in March, Bombworks Records, in conjunction with Cold Fusion Music, is happy to announce a February release of Century Sleeper, the incredible gothic doom / death collaboration of James Allin (Visionaire) and Ian Arkley (Seventh Angel, Ashen Mortality, My Silent Wake). Clocking in at over 70 minutes, this new masterpiece deftly melds doom and death with ambient and gothic overtones for a sound that is refreshing and envelopes the senses. Look for this release alongside the highly anticipated The Soul's Unrest release in February.

In other news, Luminaria / Arche has arrived and has already shipped to some distros (more will ship in January after the holidays). The Lo-Ruhamah MCD, due to the holiday rush, was delayed in shipping and will go out to distros very soon.

My Hope Has Silently Failed Our Wake

Bombworks Records has been recording the upcoming Hope Has Failed Us release at Bombworks Sound Studios, and so far things are progressing nicely. This release is going to be brutal!

Bombworks Records would like to welcome the newest band to the roster, My Silent Wake. My Silent Wake features frontman Ian Arkley, of famed metal bands Seventh Angel and Ashen Mortality, and features epic, brooding doom masterpieces that will pound your skull and thrash you around the block. The upcoming release will feature 6 or 7 brand new LONG songs plus the 2 tracks from the recent 2-song EP as bonus tracks. The 2-track EP clocked in at 16 chest-crushing minutes, so you can be sure that the new CD will be jammed full of shredding tuneage and pack a ton of energy. This is going to be a killer release that you will not want to miss. Be on the lookout for it sometime in early 2006.

Hope Has Failed Us

Bombworks Records welcomes Hope Has Failed Us into the family. Hailing from the Dallas area, Hope Has Failed Us plays a unique blend of death, black, grind, metalcore (with an emphasis on the metal!), and slower melodic sections to create a soundscape that is beautifully brutal. They began recording a full length release in Bombworks Sound Studio today, and it is already sounding incredible. For those of you who are looking for adeptly played metal that will rip your head off, look no further than Hope Has Failed Us. Be looking for this release sometime in the next few months.

Thursday, September 15, 2005

The Soul's Unrest!

We would like to welcome the newest band to the Bombworks roster: The Soul's Unrest, hailing from the Atlanta area. Imagine if you were to take the heaviest, most technical parts of bands like Living Sacrifice, Soul Embraced, Mastodon and Keelhaul, and then expect it to sound better, with more technicality, more brutality, and more utter brilliance. You now have a very tiny idea of how incredibly good this band is. Sound samples will be available soon, and look for the CD to be available in the coming months.

Thursday, September 8, 2005

New releases are here!

The new set of releases have arrived, and they look and sound incredible. Be checking your favorite distro for the new releases and, if they don't have it, ask them to order them from us! Soon, each release page will be updated with the distros you can buy them at. And, for those of you who have been under a rock, the 4 releases include the latest from progressive metallers Amos (Brazil); atmospheric, epic Ukrainian black metal by Evroklidon; extreme goth metal with incredible string arrangements from Poland's Illuminandi; and thrashy power / melodic metal from Finnish metallers Venia.

New releases almost here!

The new set of releases have been shipped from manufacturing and should be in Bombworks Records possession any day now. Once we have them, they will go out to distros for your buying pleasure. There is, however, some bad news. Due to circumstances completely out of both the band's control and the label's control, the highly anticipated Lo-Ruhamah EP will not be coming out in this batch of releases. The artwork is currently 1 1/2 months overdue from the art designer, and we have had no recent contact with the art designer. Since we can't put the release out without the artwork, it has been indefinitely postponed, though it will most likely see the light of day in October. We apologize for the delay, as many of you were excited about this release, but we pretty much tried everything we could to get this out this time around. The other 4 releases are absolutely incredible, so vent your frustration by buying all 4!

Wednesday, August 10, 2005

Want to buy Bombworks releases but not sure where to get them? Well, starting with the June releases (Seventh Angel, both Holy Bloods, and Pale Horse), each CD info page (these pages are found by clicking on a CD cover on the Releases page) for available releases will now contain distro information to let you know which distros are carrying that particular release. If you go to a site listed and see that the distro is out of stock, bug them and tell them to get it back in stock! This will hopefully help you easily find our releases. Our distro is also expanding, especially into other countries outside the US, so continue to check back.

Saturday, August 6, 2005

CONSECRATOR UPDATE: Rob met with the Consecrator guys today and heard a couple of their brand new songs from multi-track rehearsal recordings. The word "fantastic" does not even do the songs justice. Everyone who is hungry for some more incredible thrash is going to be in for a real treat. Recording of the new material will hopefully start in a couple of months at Bombworks Sound, and we hope to have some sample tracks available for your listening pleasure sometime soon.

In other news, the August releases have been sent to manufacturing. The current slate of August releases includes Amos / A Matter of Time, Evroklidon / The Flame of Sodom, Illuminandi / The Beginning . . ., Lo-Ruhamah / Lo-Ruhamah, and Venia / In Our Weakness. If all goes well, these should be available at your favorite distro by the end of August.

You may be wondering why Luminaria is not in the list above. There was a slight delay in finishing up the recording and the artwork, so this incredible extreme goth metal release from Poland will be released in October. We are currently working on some other incredible releases to also be released in October and will make formal announcements once they become official.

God Bless, and keep rocking!

Monday, July 18, 2005

VENIA is now the newest member to the Bombworks Records family. Hailing from Finland, these 4 guys and a girl deliver some delicious, thrashy melodic metal. "In Our Weakness" should be available in late August, making a total of 5 brand new releases for your listening pleasure. More details will be available soon.

Monday, July 11, 2005

EVROKLIDON's highly anticipated 6-song EP "Flames of Sodom" has finally made it through many delays and is almost ready for release. This Ukrainian band delivers 6 tracks of very satisfying epic, blistering black metal. This release will most likely be available in late August. Keep checking back for more updates!

4 NEW RELEASES NOW AVAILABLE!!! What else do we need to say? Check out our links page to see all current distros carrying these releases, and hit up the releases page to see more in-depth information about each release. Most importantly, keep metal alive!

Tuesday, June 14, 2005

4 NEW RELEASES should be available at your favorite distro by the end of June. Here is the rundown:

  • Seventh Angel / Heed the Warning + Live Tracks
    • Heed the Warning is the 3rd and final demo Seventh Angel recorded before releasing The Torment. It has never before been available on CD, and it includes several live tracks recorded from various concerts in 1992 as bonus tracks!
  • Holy Blood / The Wanderer
    • Incredible first release from these Celtic-influenced black metallers from Ukraine. This was available for a very limited amount of time as a short run, and it is now being made available again with slightly updated artwork.
  • Holy Blood / Waves Are Dancing
    • The even better follow-up to The Wanderer, with an even greater Celtic folk influence. This was also available for a very limited amount of time as a short run, and it is now being made available again with slightly updated artwork and is also an enhanced CD as originally intended, including the video for the song "The Spring".
  • Pale Horse / Until the Last Seal Is Opened . . .
    • Pale Horse made great waves in the early 90's with their thrashy death doom. This release collects all their demos from the early 90's and serves as a great primer for their upcoming 2006 release. This was available for a very limited amount of time as a short run, and it is now being made available again with slightly updated artwork.

POLISH EXTREME GOTH EXPLOSION!! - Bombworks will be releasing 2 incredible Polish extreme goth metal releases in late summer 2005. Illuminandi has been making a buzz in the underground for quite some time, intertwining complex string arrangements with extreme gothic metal. Bombworks will be releasing "The Beginning . . ." which features remastered versions of Demo I, Demo II, and a live recording. Luminaria delivers strongly played post-gothic metal and has been favorably compared to Type O Negative. They personally remind us of early 90's Saviour Machine with more keyboards and extreme vocals thrown in. Bombworks will be releasing "Arche" which features the original limited "Arche" demo plus one bonus track not available on the original demo.

BOMBWORKS SIGNS LO-RUHAMAH - Bombworks Records most recent signing is the band Lo-Ruhamah from Springfield, Missouri. This incredible 3-piece mixes black metal, death metal, and intricate folk and jazz sections for a very unique and mind-blowing sound. Bombworks will be releasing a 4-song self-titled EP, which also features incredible artwork done by Samuel Durling of Endtime Productions. You won't want to miss this release! Look for it late summer.

NEW AMOS RELEASE - Bombworks Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of "A Matter of Time", the new gothic / progressive metal masterpiece from Amos. Amos's first release, "Gothic Soul", sold very well worldwide, and this new release completely blows that one away. You won't want to miss this one! Look for it late summer.

That's all the news for now. Keep checking back, as we have a lot of incredible stuff lined up for the rest of the year. Until then...

May 18, 2005
